The mission of AIDS Walk South Dallas, Inc. is to empower all persons living with and affected by HIV/AIDS through prevention, advocacy, education, peer support, linkage to care and emergency financial assistance.
Purpose:
Our purpose is to address the specific challenges and needs of people living with HIV/AIDS with a focus on linkage to care and retention, medication access and adherence, viral suppression and other social determinants of health.

Around 1.2 million people in the United States are living with HIV, and one in eight people don't know they have it. Nearly 45,000 people find out they have HIV every year. HIV testing is the gateway to prevention and care. Click on the flyer for a testing site near you.
Because of your support and generosity in 2023, we have been able to encounter and serve over 1500 people living with or affected by HIV and COVID-19 through education, linkage to care and retention, medication assistance, emergency financial assistance and other services as needed.
